How to find ford door keypad code

If you have Ford Ignition key

If you have 2 keys great its going to be easy. insert first key into the ignition switch turn the switch to run position (do not start the engine) for 5 seconds the turn off and remove the key. Now insert the second key into the ignition switch turn to the run position do not start the car wait about 5-10 seconds and the code will appear on the dashboard.

Ford smart key

When you have 2 prox.

For proximity key you will need to find the programming slot each ford model and year is different location. Check out owner manual or if you don’t have it google it. After you have found the programming slot location take the first prox put it in the programming slot, push the the star button and do not push the brake wait 5 seconds then turn the car off. Now take the first fob out get the second fob put it in programming slot wait for about 5-15 seconds and code will should shows on the dashboard.

In case you have only one key there’s 3 options. First check owner manual case it should be there.

Second A locksmith can read it with a programmer.

Third find a sticker that have the code on it sticker location can be in few locations in your car depending on you model and year.
